December

Last quarter was tough, but I managed to pull through most of it! Now I'm working a small job and am waiting for my major opportunity to flourish in the industry when the time comes for me to graduate.
Here are a few updates of my work.
This one being Duana, a sketch of her I showed in an earlier post.


It's a pretty large image so here's a small close up.






This is a new style of coloring I've been playing with in photoshop that I've absolutely come to love.








Here's an update of the Siin piece, she's been more than a challenge but I will definitely complete her!


This December will definitely be a turning point for me. I'll be thrust out there in the real world wide eyed, ambitious, and ready for anything.

3rd week

Update for the blog! 8D







Well I updated my logo. It's looking better than last time and doesn't look like a chicken. If you look at my earlier posts you will see that it did indeed look like one. I didn't see it a first but I got a lot of feedback from friends and family saying it looked like a chicken or turkey, so I thought that it needed a bit of change and there you go! Right as rain. Love the new look.

Also, here's my attempt at brainstorming a comic book script with a friend. Obviously I have a long way to go before It looks decently right. I spent about an hour sketching this out and had to stop since it was 2am. I had a lot of fun as you can see, I hope I'll be able to get around to finishing this. One day I assure you!













Here's another WIP (work in progress) of Duana my oc (original character) which I want to finish. I really like it a lot. I've had a grand time creating her and I still love working on all aspects of her personality and background. Creating characters is such a challenge I do so enjoy!

So at the moment, this is as far as I got. A friend pointed out to me how the legs were too small. She was right. I haven't been able to fix it since then.





So now it's the second week of the quarter. Right now I'm learning how to Malescript in Maya in my Advanced Animation class. Also learning how to rig in Maya, very difficult let me tell you! Though it's good to know how to do that. So far I only got up to the head. I don't know how to paint the weights but I will eventually with some more training.
